The topponcino is a simple oval of cozy fabric that is held like a blanket under the baby. Ideal for moving the baby and avoiding any changes in temperature and / or texture after breastfeeding, feeding with a bottle or falling asleep in the arms. A real little cocoon.

What are the uses of a topponcino?

A topponcino is malleable, versatile, and allows for multiple uses. Its size will accompany the baby everywhere and will be useful for:

- Baby’s comfort and reassurance

- Make it easier to hold and support your baby

- Facilitate rest and relaxation

- Can be used as a baby wedge in a stroller or deckchair

- Allows you to breastfeed your baby or feed him with a bottle and then move him to his bed without waking him up

How does it differ from a blanket?

It is a dedicated object which will have a strong sensory and emotional attachment. And very concretely, as a pediatrician pointed out to us, with the soft cover, there can be a danger because the baby can turn around, bury his nose in it while sleeping, or be under it. Health professionals strongly warn against the risk of sudden newborn death. With topponcino, which is less flexible and smaller, the risk is lower, hence its shape and texture, which must be flexible to adapt to the arms and baby, without being too soft. It should not be used to cover the baby.

What is the material of my topponcino?

All our topponcini have two sides and a fleece in the center. One side is in double Oekotex gauze, the other in microsponge.

Easy to wash, hypoallergenic fabrics, recommended for sensitive skin and baby skin, Oekotex standard 100.

How big is my topponcino?

85 cm by 45 cm wide, to go from birth to approximately one year.

Can it be matched with the Les Babilleuses cushion?

Normally yes, we try to vary the colors and patterns so that it looks super pretty with the cushion and your decor. ;)

How do I wash my topponcino?

Machine washable up to 60°C.

Avoid tumble drying to preserve the cotton fiber.
